नवरात्र सप्तम दिवस माँ कालरात्रि को समर्पित
हम सब नवरात्रि कि सातवेें दिन माँ कालरात्रि की पूजा करते हैं। मान्यताओं के अनुसार माँ कालरात्रि, अपने भक्तों को भय से मुक्ति प्रदान करती हैं, माँ हमेशा, आपके अच्छे बुरे कर्मों का हिसाब करती हैं। नव दुर्गाओं में माँ सबसे उग्र स्वाभाव की देवी हैं। आइये जानते हैं माँ के इस स्वरुप की पावन कथा।
माँ कालरात्रि के अभय स्वरुप का वर्णन
माता को उनके भक्त भिन्न-भिन्न प्रकार में कल्पना करते हैं। एक स्वरुप में माता अपने दो हाथों में, वज्र और कटार है, तो दूसरे दो हाथों से वर एवं अभय मुद्रा से अपने भक्तों की मनोकामना पूर्ण करतीं और उनको भय से मुक्ति देती हैं। वही दूसरी ओर, माँ अभय एवं वर मुद्रा के साथ एक हाथ में कटार तो दूसरे हाथ में कपाल पात्र धारण किये हुई हैं।
कपाल पात्र कि महिमा
कपाल का अर्थ होता है “मुंड या सर”, कपाल पात्र में संचित रक्त का पान करती हुई माँ, सभी असुरों का अंत करने के लिए रक्त का भक्षण करती हैं। और साथ में, माँ जीवन मरण के इस चक्र से मुक्त हैं। कपाल हमारे अहंकार को दर्शाता है, और उस कपाल से रक्तपान करती हुई माँ, हमारे अंदर छिपी उन बुराइयों के अंत को दर्शाती हैं।
माँ कालरात्रि की पौराणिक कथा
शुम्भ-निशुम्भ का सृष्टि पर आतंक
शुम्भ के दैत्य राज बनने के पश्च्यात, दोनों राक्षस भाइयों ने मिलकर इस सृष्टि पर राक्षसों का आतंक व्याप्त कर रखा था। शुम्भ-निशुम्भ को भगवान ब्रह्मा से यह वरदान प्राप्त था कि उनका अंत सिर्फ एक स्त्री कर सकती है, जिनके जन्मदाता पुरुष हों। मद और अहंकार में चूर होकर उन्होंने सृष्टि को आतंकित कर रखा था और साथ ही देवताओं को भी आतंकित कर रखा था।
देव गणों कि भगवान शिव से गुहार
सभी देव गणों ने शुम्भ निशुम्भ के अत्याचार से पीड़ित होकर, देवराज इंद्र के साथ भगवान शिव से सहायता की गुहार लगाई। भगवान शिव ने माँ पार्वती से शुम्भ-निशुम्भ का अंत करने का अनुरोध किया। इसके पश्च्यात माँ पार्वती ने माँ दुर्गा का रूप धारण किया।
शुम्भ-निशुम्भ के सेना प्रमुख रक्तबीज
रक्तबीज, एक भयावह असुर के रूप में आज भी जाना जाता है। रक्तबीज ने कड़ी तपस्या करने के उपरांत भगवान ब्रह्मा से अमरता का वरदान माँगा। भगवान के यह वरदान न देने पर, रक्तबीज ने मांग लिया कि जब भी युद्ध में उसका रक्त धरा पर गिरेगा, एक नया रक्तबीज, उसके जितना ही शक्तीशाली उस रक्त कि बूँद से उत्पन्न होगा। इस वरदान से रक्तबीज अमर नहीं तो उससे कम शक्तिशाली भी नहीं था।
शुम्भ की माँ पार्वती को ललकार
शुम्भ ने सभी देवताओं की शक्ति स्वरूपा को बंधक बनाने के पश्च्यात, माँ अदि शक्ति को अपने समक्ष प्रस्तुत करने के लिए धूम्रलोचन, चण्ड और मुंड को माँ के पास भेज दिया। जिनका माँ ने तत्पश्च्यात अंत कर दिया।
माँ कौशिकी का रक्तबीज से युद्ध
निशुम्भ को एक भीषण युद्ध में परास्त करने के बाद, रक्तबीज ने माँ को मार्ग में युद्ध की ललकार दी। रक्तबीज के वरदान की वजह से, उसका अंत लगभग असंभव था। लेकिन कहते हैं ना, संसार बुराई का अंत करने के लिए तरीके ढूँढ ही लेता है।
माँ काली अर्थात कालरात्रि
रक्तबीज के वर स्वरुप, उसका अंत लगभग असंभव था, लेकिन माँ कौशिकी ने रक्तबीज का अंत करने के लिए, माँ काली से अनुरोध किया कि रक्तबीज के रक्त के धरा पर गिरने से पहले ही उसके रक्त का पान कर लें। इसी प्रकार रक्तबीज के सहित उसकी पूरी सेना का अंत हो गया। माँ काली के रक्तबीज के अंत करने के पश्च्यात उनका नाम कालरात्रि पड़ गया, जिसका अर्थ होता है, काल सी, खुद में सबको समाये हुई माँ।
नवरात्री के सप्तम दिवस की महिमा
माँ कालरात्रि, न्याय को दर्शातीं हैं। इसी कारण माँ कालरात्रि को शनि तत्त्व के नियंत्रणकर्ता के रूप में देखा जाता है। वे कभी भी अपने भक्तों के साथ अन्याय नहीं होने देती। साथ ही उनका न्याय, हमेशा दुर्जनो के लिए अत्यंत ही कष्टदाई होता है। आपके शुद्ध भाव से माँ को पुकारने की देरी है, वे सभी कर्मो का न्याय बिना किसी छूट के करती हैं। जिन्होंने उनके कहर को जान लिया हो, उनकी कभी भी किसी का बुरा करने की मंशा नहीं जागेगी।

आज का पावन रंग धूसर अर्थात “Grey” को माना जाता है, जो सृजन और अंत दोनों के एकाकार होने को दर्शाता है, जो माँ काली में समाये हुए हैं।

माता कालरात्रि को आज के दिन उनके पसंदीदा रातरानी के फूल अर्पित करें, और गुड़ का भोग लगावें।

स्तुति
या देवी सर्वभूतेषु माँ कालरात्रि रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः।।
माँ कालरात्रि अपने भक्तों को शुभ फल दायिनी होती हैं, इसी वजह से उन्हें माँ शुभंकरी के नाम से भी जाना और पूजा जाता है। आज के दिन माँ की पूजा करने से भक्तों को सर्व सिद्धि की प्राप्ति होती हैं, एवं सभी तरह की बुराइयों का हमारे जीवन से नाश होता है। आप सब पर माँ की असीम कृपा बानी रहे।
